This is our big bag of organic Raw (Non-roasted) or Roasted high-quality cacao beans ! There are 3 main ways to use them : as an snack or ingredient, as a ritual tool, and as a base for ceremonial cacao paste. ♡

Organic cacao beans can be a real boost. Because no fragrances, flavors or colorings have been added and no pesticides have been used to grow the beans, it is a pure product, full of good nutrients.

This is the base of the ceremonial grade cacao of Râ cacao, these are the seeds of the fruit that grows on the cacao tree in Costa Rica, also called Theobroma cacao in Latin. Thebroma literally means "food of the gods". For cacao and chocolate lovers, this bean is crucial! This is the raw material that determines the quality/quantity of benefits and the aroma profile of the ceremonial cacao...

So obviously, the beans are full of good properties, which are fully preserved as they don't go through any process, it is a rich source of polyphenols, flavonoids, full of minerals, vitamin C and the amino acids tryptophan and phenylethylamine.

If you get into a routine, the recommended daily amount of cacao beans is around 10 grams per day (max 10 beans). We recommend that you do not exceed this amount as if you eat too many cacao beans every day, the healthy effect is lost! If you just want to enjoy beans once in a while, then you can go up to 2 to 3 times this amount.

There are countless ways to consume this tasty superfood. Of course, you can enjoy them as they are, or after peeling them. You can also easily add the beans to smoothies, yoghurt, muesli or a handful of nuts, just peeled or crushed into nibs. Another tasty option is to grate them and spread them on a dessert as a topping.

Aaaand of course they are a beautiful ritual tool! They represent the birth and mother energy of the cacao being a seed. You can place some on your altar, infuse them with a prayer and gave them to mama Gaïa as a gift (throwing one in the fire, burrying one in the earth, drowning one in the water etc....), or even place one in your wallet for abundance calling (as cacao beans were used as a currency before!). There are many ways, I'm sure cacao will guide through what's needed for you.

Finally, if you want to go deep deep, you wan decide to make your own ceremonial cacao paste, by peeling and grinding to the finest your beans til the cacao butter comes out and allow to obtain a paste (we recommend using a stone mortar). Shape your paste with intention (make a heart, your higher self... it's like sacred pottery at this point!) an make your sacred drink, in the most raw form you can find. Exactly like how the Mayas were used to do.
